Friends
Lately I've been thinking to myself about this:
About having a friend .. well lets say close but not so close. Sometimes telling you stuff, until you feel close to the person. Not in detail but enough for you to know what's going on. But then they don't tell you afterwards .. or let's say the conversation never ocurred kinda thing.
You get what I mean?
Just feel frustrated sometimes. Like something is hanging somewhere.

Maybe tomorrow is a good day to go to the beach again. I'll see about that.
As for everything else ...

21
21, the age that marks adulthood. Since today I hit that spot, I guess I have to behave like one. Still feels like nothing much has changed after high school.
However, I must be grateful for making it to this day. Looking back a few years at my silly thoughts .. I doubt I would still be walking on this earth.
Anyhow, I'm glad this year the more important people in my life remembered my birthday.
As for now, I just have 'temporary freedom'. I am still in the middle of Mid-T's, meaning that I have to get back 2 studying now .. :P
Please pray for me yeah.

Me: KL

Me: TAR College
Friend: Studying what?
Me: Mechanical Engineering
Friend: So, is he coming back to Miri?
Me: Yes, but I don't know when
Friend: I see.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive, distressing, intrusive thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or "rituals") which attempt to neutralize the obsessions. Thus it is an anxiety disorder. It is listed by the World Health Organization as one of the top ten most disabling illnesses in terms of lost income and diminished quality of life.

Why?
Why did you let it happen? Why this way?
We were once so close but now so far apart. You made me whole but you tore me apart.
I now have to find the pieces of my life and put them once more in place.
It felt just like yesterday.
It's all but now just a memory.

National Service (No Shit! Non-Sense)
Najib: NS could be extended to two years
By JANE RITIKOS
SEOUL: The Government is willing to consider extending national service (NS) to one or two years because three months is not enough to build up character and instil good values in Malaysian youths.
However, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said that such a decision would ultimately depend on the willingness of parents.
“Three months is not enough to achieve the programme's objective of instilling in Malaysian youths good values such as dedication, commitment and bravery.”
Speaking to Malaysian students here during a question and answer session, Najib said: “Are parents willing to make a sacrifice (and delay their children’s graduations)? I suspect it will not be easy to persuade parents.
“If they are willing we can review this,” he said, adding that the Government could not easily decide on this if parents resisted.
(Source: The Star, March 13 2007)
I recall that the Malaysian government telling national television and TV3 that Malaysia had it's own formula and that Malaysia did not need to follow any other formulas for national service, particularly following neighbouring country Singapore.
Year 1986 was the first batch to go into NS training. That was the batch I was in, that's why I still can recall the comments made by Najib a few years back. Fast forward a few years .. this is what we get. Hrm ... anymore reconsiderations? I personally do not think the issue is about parents willingness. It is about the government's policy in what it is achieving. Putting certain number of students in NS seems biased to some. What about the others? Do they not need patriotic sentiments instilled in them as well?

2057
This morning I listened to the radio ... Trax FM to be specific. Said that Badawi had plans for the future that is in 2057 as CONTINUED development after 2020. Could we just not achieve Mahathir's vision of 2020?

What luck!
This new semester seems like 'it' had something to offer to me. Before going on further, let's see the
Hightlights:
First day - Tyre puncture.
Second day - Late for class.
On the first day of class on my way back home. Rear type puntured. Luckily for me, Gary was following behind. Got it fixed.
But then le .. the tyre was DEAD. Couldn't be saved nemore. So seems like I have to go tyre hunting this week looking for a brand new tyre. And there goes my ang pao money... all on a new tyre. What luck! =] Bet it's gonna cost me a fortune.
Second day
Woke up at 915am, Class at 930am
Sitting in classroom 950am
Wasn't that bad cos I did not miss anything important. But anyhow have got to discipline ownself to wake up early already.
Insomnia ... just might be the problem. Solutions anyone?

Friendster
Some of you might know this conciously, some sub-conciously. Friendster prepares a platform for a layman to detect relationships among peers and their peers relationship to others. Personally, I think this is a bad thing. But anyhow, I'm sure there are people out there going all out to find who and who are connected.
Again it's only a tool for the layman.
