How to get your readership up?!?

This post is intended to teach a few techniques for the underdogs of the blogging world to get their readership up!

Well to name a few tips:

1. Post a comment in someone else's blog. You might have a chance of that other person viewing your blog. Since, the other person won't have as much people commenting on their blog.
2. Post something very interesting and that relates to people.
3. Write stuff that people want to read.
4. Use photos. Photos are powerful tools and the more photos you put in your blog the more you have to say about what's going on in the picture. Make sure the pictures you put up are of quality tho.
5. Write long, funny, ridiculous posts.
6. Post everyday so that people know that you are updating. This helps in the long run.
7. Study other blogs, the popular one's of course. See what they write about, what reaction they get from their readers..
8. Most importantly, patience is key. In order for this to work, we must give it time to develop. Everybody has to start somewhere. Even to the featured bloggers that are all now veli veli famous, they all started somewhere..

Haunted?

Okay, here's the thing I've been REAL busy with lack of sleep for this whole one week. My schedule went like this:

Tuesday: CS 301 Mid-Term
Wednesday: CS 301 Quiz
Thursday: ESE 301 Lab Report
Friday: ESE Assignment and CS Lab Test

Friday was super special because it is a double whammy, but the most difficult part of it all was not taking tests but it was finishing up the lab reports! It was so technical that I barely had enough sleep. Sleep is like only 4 hours a day with alot of time reading, studying, and type, type, type.

At last, tonight I'm free from all this ghostly assignments. Next week is study week and then final exam. If I get thru, Ill be in my final year next semester. 4 freakin years in Uni! Need to get out already la~~ It's time.

New Project

I have just started a project as of today for Miri. It is dedicated to Miri as I have been here for a very very long time.

I have tried names like miri,miricity,mirisarawak.blogspot.com .. etc. All have been taken up. Only one of many I tried blogged about Miri but it's not updated. I'll try my very best to update my version tho.

My friend, Geraldine K suggested I used seahorse instead of oiltown, sounds nicer I guess. Guess she is a so called 'genius'. Well she praises herself for that. Haha..

Money making

By registering with nuffnang adds I am able to see where my readers came from. To my suprise, most of them didn't come from Malaysia instead it came mostly from Australia, United States and United Kingdom. With a few more from Ukraine and Singapore. Most of them should be my schoolmates others should be the general populace.

Well, seems I'm starting to make abit more than I expected. Well passive money making is always the best. =)
